The course path of B.Tech LE is different from the Regular B. Tech in terms of preparation for the course and the admission process. The candidates interested in applying for B. Tech LE must have mandatorily completed a 3-year diploma course in engineering right after their Class 10th board exam. The candidates interested in applying for Regular B. Tech are required to have completed only their Class 12th and not required to have pursued a diploma.
SAITM offers admission into B. Tech LE programs only to the candidates who have secured minimum criteria of 45% in any stream of their choice. There is no academic difference between regular B. Tech and B. Tech Lateral Entry courses.
